For Option 3, you may purchase a short-term Chinese SIM card upon arrival at the airport. China’s three major mobile operators are China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC), China United Network Communications (CUCC), and China Telecom (CT). Short-term SIM card plans vary slightly by operator. Taking CUCC as an example, three packages are available: a 7-day plan (20 GB domestic data + 100 minutes of voice calls), a 15-day plan (30 GB domestic data + 200 minutes of voice calls), and a 30-day plan (50 GB domestic data + 300 minutes of voice calls), priced at 85 RMB, 125 RMB, and 195 RMB, respectively.
